Indian Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) has launched a web application for DTH and cable TV subscribers. This will greatly benefit the customers. They will be able to choose their own favorite TV channels. Tell us new rules are being implemented from February 1, under which operators have to show different prices for each channel. At the moment, they show the prices of bookies.

On Thursday, TRAI asked DTH and cable operators to launch web and mobile apps to facilitate customers. But it is being said that the operators will not be able to do this before January 29. After which the decision to launch web application was taken.
What will be the benefits of web app
According to TRA, this app brought to help customers is given a list of paid and free to air, standard and HD all channels. Apart from this, the subscription value of each channel and the total value of the channels selected by the consumers will also be seen on this app. Apart from this, TRAI has specifically told operators that if he fails to reach all the customers, then such customers should be kept in the free-to-air pack. Which includes 100 HD channels for monthly rent of Rs 130. This means that the related customer's TV will not be black out.

TRAI Chairman RS Sharma said that the first consumer had no idea what the channel he was watching was worth it. Now she has the freedom to choose the channel. The first one rupee channel was being given to the consumer in five rupees. All such flaws have been removed in the new rules.
This rule is right now
At present, houses which have more than one cable connection, they only have to set up a set top box. You can run two or three TVs with the same plan. However, since February 1, you will have to take a different connection to your TV or TV in your home or elsewhere. Each TV will have to take a separate package. This will burden people's pockets.
